Google Panda? Slap That Panda!
Google Panda is an update that was added in February of 2011 and resulted in a new search algorithm to improve search results.
It aims to lower the pagerank of low quality websites and return websites of high quality to Google's users. According to press release sites this change affected the Pagerank of almost 12% of all search results.
Slap That Panda SEO
So how does Slap That Panda SEO work?
The Google Panda algorithm focuses on quality, not quantity. The old SEO ways died with Panda. This means that normal link wheels/link strategies won't work on the long-term. Next to this, spun articles will also be detected by Panda on the long-run thus decreasing pagerank.
Slap That Panda focuses on quality. We have our own team of experienced article writers that post unique content to our clients websites. This content is only used once. No rehashing whatsoever.
Our link strategy is build around high PR websites that offer relevant content to our clients websites.
And most importantly we make sure that our clients sites are naturally linked over time.
What you should know…
Length of Visit:
Since it takes common sense to know that when an individual searched and found a relevant page they are more likely to stay on the page for some time looking for information; therefore such sites where visitors spends more time are considered relevant pages and would be rated on Google. That's pretty good news for real site owners isn’t it?
Bounce Rate:
Here we refer to the landing page that brings a visitor to a website – Google would now assume that pages that lands visitors to websites too often than usual would be considered as a computer algorithm and would not be rated.
Returning Visitors:
Another great way of knowing which sites are ranking top on search engines according to real human activities, is the returning number of visitors. Since it’s natural that only relevant pages
with quality information will have returning visitors – thus, Google adopts it.
Social Media:
Since the aim of Panda is to help Google choose and rate sites based on real human activities, a website with a Facebook fan-page, Twitter, and even a YouTube video with plenty of interaction referring people to their sites is proof enough that this is a real website. Because websites offering free downloads or 20 ways to make money online would certainly not have Social media pages.
